The sound quality when using it at higher volumes is a bit patchy. I'm unsure if it's an issue with the Bluetooth connection or the device itself. Still it's a sturdy design and works fine for the price, battery life has been good as well.

This is the second Logitec Harmony 650 we have used in the household. Once programmed it works all parts of the home theater system very well and is a great controller for "Dummies" with the ability to program specific tasks like watch TV or watch a movie with one button press. The Help function is good if one part of the system hasn't responded to an action. It is comfortable to use and fits the hand nicely and responds well to button presses. The previous 650 developed a problem with the tactile buttons losing their conductive coating after three years rendering it useless. Even attempting to recoat the tactile buttons worked for a while but before long the coating parted from the rubber rendering ti useless and making it only suitable as a parts donor. It is to be hoped that this replacement model does not suffer the same fate in the same time period or that Logitec have upgraded the switch coating to give more life especially when the number buttons are used often.
