Absolutely essential for dental health! I had three opinions from local vets that my dog had 'severe dental health problems' and quotes varied from $400 to over $900 to rectify. I was surprised and worried so I thought I'd try dental sticks - I initially tried some green ones but my dog had constant diarrhea and some vomiting so changed to Dentastix. His teeth seemed to improve within weeks and a month later he had to see a vet for an injured paw. The health report from one of the same vets on the day: "Dental health - Good"!!
