The Yakima ShowDown offers amazing capacity in a load assist boat carrier, with up to 36.3kg being handled with ease. With facilities for either one kayak, or up to two boards. The mount tilts down to lower the loading point 66cm below the roof rack height, making it easier than ever to load your kayak, surfboards, or SUPs. This mechanism takes 30% to 45% of the weight for you, depending on the boat width, and then assists to lift the boat or board(s) onto the rack.
