I bought this fan to circulate the heat in my lounge room from my wood stove. It works a treat. It replaces a Martec 6" fan that worked fine but whose bearings started to make noise. So I was attracted to the Vivosun because of its ball bearing motor. It works a treat. I have it running all day during winter and it's as quiet as a mouse. I have it on its second speed which is perfect for my needs. Can't even hear it unless you're up close. It works great and seems really well designed and built.
