Bought new. It played ok and sound was alright. Fwd and Rwd fine. Cheap earbuds are terrible. Instructions as per usual,(English as second language) but not too hard to work out. It cuts off start of tunes. Even given at least two seconds of lead in time. It has digital glitches when listening back from the USB on PC. Used correct FAT32 USB, tried two different brands. It seems to have compressed the music too much and file glitches, like a slight jumping record. Boring and annoying. Unusable as intended.

Bought my unit from an outlet in Whyalla, SA. Trying to digitise a very-well-kept collection of old cassette tapes. I hooked it up to my PC, plugged-in a USB stick - the contents of which flashed up on my monitor, so it's switched on and it's read the USB file. The blue power light stayed constant (no flashing even when I pressed it to record). Inserted tape (tapes, actually - tried several). Pressed Play, then Record. The tape rolls, but that's all. No sound except the squeaking of the rollers in the casing. I'll keep troubleshooting over the weekend, but it doesn't look promising.

The opening mechanism is a bit clumsy but the auto ID is great save s time listening to the cassette in real time

I had given up on my old tapes until now, but did not have the heart to part with them. This is a surprisingly effective and user-friendly product for transferring tapes to MP3 format WITHOUT a computer. Thank you from one happy customer.

Instructions very difficult to read and even then mine didn't work. Despite numerous attempts with different tapes all it did was create and empty folder on the USB stick. Now waiting to see if digitech will respond with a readable manual and instructions on how to diagnose the problem and then fix it.
