The sticky label printing makes it appear lower quality than it is when you use it. The fit of the SD card was good and reassuring. I am using it as an adapter in an old iPod, in line with a mini IDE to CF converter. Everything fit together as you'd expect, and everything worked first try.

I recieved this last friday. Was doing well, transfered at higher speeds and was exactly what I was looking for. If you are looking for a product for a older canon camera, couldnt recommend this anymore. Only down side which i dont want you to be discouraged by because this may be a manufacturing error- the cf card did die on me today so that was about 3 days of fun and what I needed it for. Im sure it is probably just a lemon product but will be buying another next friday to test that again!

It arrived fine, ok quality for an adapter. But it doesnt work. I'm not sure why, I've used several different SD cards, as well as trying different cameras (I have proper CF cards for them, just wanted to get something with more storage for cheaper.) Keeps saying that something is wrong. it's also very hard to get the SD cards back out again. I get that it needs to be a tight fit for best performance but it should not take a pair of pliers to get it out.

I was a bit sceptical how well this SD card adaptor would work but I shouldn't have been worried. I have a bucket load of reasonably fast SD cards but needed a CF card for a second-hand dSLR camera and this worked a treat. Great value and even if you have to buy SD cards, still comes out cheaper than CF cards. I use an existing CF card reader and prefer to go that route than take the SD card out each time. I used this adaptor a few times now, in my Canon 7d, and 5d mark ii, using a 32 gig SD card, and it works a treat. The transfer rates seemed a bit slower than a full CF card, but other than that, it captured all my photos no problems. Transferring them over to PC proved to be no issue either.

As this product was purchased for an embedded device with a Compact Flash reader it did not work as expected. ( The device could not be seen in the enbedded device / computer ). When it was installed in a Nikon Camera with a 16 GB SD Card it worked perfectly, with no issues at all. When installed in a Card Reader connected to a PC it also worked perfectly. There is nothing wrong with the card when used as is described, this was simply a trial to use it not as designed.
