Cooking times for fast food appear to be good, but cooking times of homemade food does not seem to correspond with the temperatures in the book. The tops of the food seem to cook faster and the bottom takes longer. It would be good to have a cookbook so we could get an idea of what to do. We purchased a second one for our daughter and she is having the same problems. Perhaps a heating element on the bottom would help. Other than that we find it satisfactory.

Absolute rubbish, very primitive, elements are exposed and taking up almost 50mm of space from the top and I am not sure how you can clean between the element and the top, fan and element continue working when door is open extreme safety hazard, drip/baking tray doesn't fit on the very bottom again you lose 60mm of space, light stays on through out the whole cooking time increase in power consumption temperature dial only has four exact temp. settings and the rest you have to guess. The most regrettable purchase I have ever made, compared to my last Air fryer which was a Kitchen Coutcher 16lt it is chalk and cheese between the two, the Healthy Choice is like it is from the 1950s.

Fairly basic unit, but looks good. If you have never used an Air Fryer before, this unit is very little help - no cooking instructions,no reheating info. just some symbols on the front of the unit which are rather difficult to understand. By trial and error it seems to work well, good for frozen chips!
