I found this GPS reasonably easy to setup, it came in imperial measurements but I eventually found the setting to put in metric measurement for travelling, map was for Paris (?) but when I configured it in the car with the time zones etc. all was made correct without any further input from me. The screen is nice and large with clear road and points of interest on the screen. You might want to invest in a 3rd party holder as I found the one that comes with it is a bit weak and the suction cap that goes to windscreen didn't like to stick, might be better after a couple of days in sun. Only just installed it to car and really haven't put to any real testing but it looks good so far. I previously owned a 7" GPS that weighed a ton compared to this one, slim build and light weight makes this GPS look very sleek and stylish. I will need to find out about the lifetime maps but other than that all looks good.Read full review

This unit works very well, but sadly the screen brightness is very low even at maximum setting. The same is the case with the audio voice volume, although that can be amplified by running the audio through the FM radio if you have one in your vehicle.

Support is nonexistent (I don't speak Chinglish). Reversing camera worked well for about a month never to be seen again. Very power hungry and entirely unreliable when not completely charged. Car charger seems not to be able to bring a flat battery back to life (put it on an Apple charger for 24 hours and it comes good). Once you have lost the documentation you have no idea what model it is. Nowhere does it tell you either as a S/N or in the 'about' . Very steep learning curve to operate. Having said that I am still using it albeit as a backup system. I have a Garmin and a Navman as my primary systems in two different vehicles and they are easily much better than this. My advice is pay the extra and get something that is reliable and easy to use!

An excellent product that updates automatically. It's let down by it's glossy, reflective screen which makes it difficult to see when the sun shines on it. That is even with the backlight at it's brightest setting, it is then too bright at night. Fitting a non reflective screen would make it a brilliant device.

It does the job well as a gps unit with plenty of warnings plus a great display. If any criticism but small is the speaker in the unit could be clearer ie the voice is a little scratchy. Otherwise a great unit.
