I have purchased this as a spare. The original one I purchased is still going. Just don't wash out with water as I did as components will start to rust and seize. Dismantle to clean if required. I have found these units to be powerful and the best around for the price. I have tried several others including Electrolux original and Miele and found all to be poor quality with poor customer service. I modified mine to take a clip on Miele style fitting and use it with a Miele style telescopic tube connected to a Karcher wet and dry vacuum cleaner. Best setup I have ever had and half the price of and much more efficient and lasting than any Electrolux or Miele that I have had. Photo attached of the unit that I have been using for some time now.

The turbo head is ok for hard floors but very hard manoeuvring on carpet, a bit strenuous. The front clear component comes off easily if you bump into anything eg wall, furniture etc and not hard either. if it’s all you can afford, like me then it will do the job, if you can afford the actual Dyson turbo head then get that.

It wouldn't work on my vacuum cleaner which it turns out doesn't have strong enough suction to turn the turbo. Tested on a different vacuum and the turbo works really well so not a problem with the product but sadly with my machine.

only just tried it out, seems to be doing the job as described...

This is a terrible vac head, absolutely not worth the money, the brush barrel stopped working within the first few months of light use and most of the suction is lost through the joins.
