This has been a great series to watch. Season 5 shifts toward the children of Ragnar who were real-life characters. While it has some historical foundation, it not meant to be a history lesson. There is no shortage of action. If you liked the previous 4 seasons then you will enjoy this one

The plot is gripping, the detail absorbing, the gory bits riveting.
