Pity made in China but such is life. Replacing the bonnet struts has to be the easiest, most effective vehicle repair/improvement that anyone can make to their vehicle. No more falling bonnets. Only problem is that you really have to intentionally close the bonnet, no more just dropping it. All you need is a small to medium bladed screwdriver and do one at a time whilst propping up the bonnet.

These struts were great value and very easy to fit. All you need is a small plain screwdriver and something to prop up the bonnet while a strut is removed. A wipe and little dab of grease is a good idea on the mounts. Tip: Only issue I found is that when you need to twist the strut to align with the mounting ball studs, turn it clockwise or it will unscrew the cylinder. If it happens just tighten it back up finger tight. So far it supports the bonnet well.
