This unit is fantastic. The display and jog shuttle are standard Sagean type. The later takes a little getting used to but is intuitive. It has both DAB+ and RDS display. And in addition it has 5 presets on top of the unit which allow easy access to stations. Reception is good. I have tested it walking around near home. It comes with headphones but not batteries (I use rechargables) and no strap for the holder socket.

The first radio had a faulty jog wheel and did not work at all when moved up. Had this replaced and the new one is better but the jog wheel is still clunky. It often skip menu entries and is difficult to use. I have the previous model of this radio which also has a jog which but it works much better. Only bought this one as it has the preset buttons which are more useful at night. Is also smaller as it does not have a speaker. Sound is good but would not recommend this radio..

Sangean is really good, but the batteries do not last very long. Service from Ryda was excellent.

Sangean made a great radio with this model. The battery life is great, (I use long life eneloop AA). Sensitive reception on digital band. No complaints and well worth the money. A great feature set that is well thought out. I have 4 digital, AM, FM radios from Sangean and they are all great. Recommend this radio fully, no complaints at all.
