Good solid product. No off-gassing plastic smell on case or unit. Bright & good light zoom range. Headlamp swivel up & down over notches and remains at setting when you move your head likewise. Zooming action has reassuring friction - setting remains fixed regardless of head movements. Only ‘negative’ is that at max zoom ( spotlight ) there is a thin black crosshair across the beam but at the range, I did not find that an issue.
