This is amazing if you are just starting out in a river/lake system. Set up is easy and allows the kids to successfully help. Sturdy. We've had ours two months and used it 6 times. We have two - one son (11 yrs) goes with his dad and our youngest (9 yrs) goes with me. We didn't know whether we wanted a kayak or not so we decided on this as it was a reasonable price.

The Intex Explorer K2 Kayak is good value for what it is. It is definitely no where near as good as a solid plastic or fibreglass Kayak as it is not as rigid and it is effected by the wind a lot more. However, if storage, transportation or even price are an issue, then this is a good compromise.
