It is always difficult in assessing the capabilities of any new battery, however, the performance of a LiFePO4 battery exceeds the performance of the 9 - year old Deep Cycle Lead-Acid battery. I really like the face that the new Lithium battery is only a fraction of the weight, when directly compared with the same capacity Lead-Acid variety. I have also noticed that the new Lithium battery (which is charged by Solar), charges at almost double the amperage - therefore the Lithium battery receives its' daily charge in a very efficient way, and is usually fully-charged by mid-afternoon.

I have not used the battery for very long as yet , we are going on an extended holiday in a couple of months and will be doing some free camping so the life of each charge will get a test then , but the most out standing feature of this battery is the weight or lack of it , at around 12 kg it is so light that even a senior citizen like me had no trouble lifting it into place in my caravan ( under the bed ) believe me I had all sorts of fun getting the old AGM out , it weights about the same as a bag of cement and being stored in such a tight space its a mission to remove it , not so with the Mobi LIFEPO4 , iy was installed in minutes and up and running in no time at all . thanks guys Mark Holman Narangba QLD PS just by changing to a lithium battery I have reduced the draw bar weight by 23 kgRead full review

I purchased 4 of these batteries to use on a golf buggy - a heavy power load The battery is lightweight and easy to carry with the included carry handle. The battery terminals are colour coded, easy to see and the cables are securely fastened with brass m10 bolts. The battery case is solid and well constructed. The BMS display is simple and easy to see and read, but was obscured once my battery tie downs were installed. The batteries were charged independently and then wired in series for a 48 volt (52 volt) power supply. According to my battery gauge, the batteries lasted just under the advertised 135AH. What I wasn't aware of was the fact that BMS when the batteries reached their discharge point, would shut the batteries off - I of course was used to lead acid which would allow the buggy to slow down indicating a charge was required. Unfortunately after about 8 months, the BMS unit Died on two of these batteries and a third unit is preventing the battery from being fully charged. I have no idea if this is a common problem, or perhaps a bad batch of BMS units. Overall, despite these problems, I would still highly recommend these batteries.
