The look and style of this putter gives confidence to your putting when you stand over the ball. Unfortunately, it is a bit light for my tastes. It is one of the styles that does not have the ability to remove and replace weight in the sole, as other style do. As a result, you are stuck with the lightness unless you ruin the look of it by adding stick-on lead strips. The lightness seems to eliminate any "feel" when you make ball contact. This results in doubt as to the "pace" of the ball. I've been using it about6 weeks now (two games per week). I can't fault its accurac; bnt I am still unsure where the ball will stop rolling. It needs to be "weightier" to give me some "touch".
I love the boxy, solid look of this putter at address, and how the ball comes off so soft when you get it just right. I use to own an Odyssey 2-Ball blade, which was a good putter, then after about 2 years I was looking for a new one. I came across a golf galaxy and asked to try the Red X, American classic, and this. The Red X was not the kind of setup I was looking for, the american classic did not enhance confidence at address, but this putter was just about perfect in everthing, went where I needed it to go, and felt great off the face. I bought the putter a few days later and it has been great to me ever since. If you are looking to buy a Cameron putter, definently check this one out, and the other newports, especially the Tei3.
If you prefer a blade style putter, I don't think you can get much better than this. A good stroke seems to put a very true roll on the ball. Unlike some putters with various face materials, the feedback provided by the German stainless steel insert is outstanding. Very crisp and responsive. You definitely know when you've you've put a good stroke on the ball and hit the sweet spot. Even mishits toward the heel or toe seem to hold the intended line. The Scotty Cameron putters seem to be a little pricey, but the flat stick is used more than any other club in the bag so I think it's a wise purchase.
If you are a golfer you know scoring is definitely in the short game and putting more important than the driving of the ball. I have tried many putters in my life and for the life of me I now understand the importance of a well made, balanced putter. The Scotty Cameron Putter line consists of many different style of putters for the golfer, I have found the 1.5 and 2.5 shaft fits my height and feel better than some of the other styles. I highly recommend you try a Scotty putter and see the difference in your golf score.
Beautiful solid coach bag, love it for everyday use, wide strap is great for shoulders

The putter is honest, you can feel miss hits right away which help you focus your stroke, it is a great piece of equipment, i am actually holding off on making it my main putter till i get better (i don't want to throw it if i miss). Awesome balance, for being a blade i expected weakness at address or a fake sweet spot (blades that make all hits feel the same), this putter is responsive and dead accurate.
