Have only used it for a few days so far but seems to perform very well on green, smaller timber. Chain is of poor quality and dulled very quickly but in general I would recommend this saw for someone looking to do some cutting of green timber <300mm diameter. This saw would better match an 18" bar, it is not even close to the power of a stihl 72cc saw.

The engine works really good. The saw chain is Ra*Sh**. It goes blunt too quickly and the chain stretches every time I use the chainsaw. I am a 70 year old farmer and have used chainsaws for more than 40 years.

I have a number of smaller Chinese saws and a Stihl. The Chinese saws have been excellent value. I bought the MTM 22" because I had a really big tree to cut down and then cut up and the smaller saws didn't have the bar reach. The MTM arrived in 3 days and cost me less than $100. The saw was quick to assemble and started within a few pulls. From then on, it has started pretty much every second pull - first one has choke and it fires a few times, then push the choke in and it starts next pull. Excellent, very easy starting. It has ample power and the chain seems of reasonable quality. The saw easily dealt with a 1 meter diameter dead brittle gum. The oil screw operates in reverse compared to the moulded in screw directions - ie, turn the oil screw fully to minimum to maximise chain oil delivery just to be different. The saw has ample power to run the 22" bar in hardwood, but is about the same power as the Stihl saw that is just a bit more than 1/2 the MTM engine capacity. You don't get Stihl power for $95. But you do get a very usable, adequate chainsaw of excellent value with spares backup. Can't beat the value. I'm happy. Read full review

She's a ripper, straight outta box , fuel, bar oil, tree! No problems, wouldn't buy brand name anymore, for this price I could buy 10 and still be cheaper than one! Awesome

Good quality plastics, starts & runs well..... maybe not 'quite' as much power as expected for a "58cc" (if that's actually correct). Maybe it'll free up a bit after running in (and a tune up). Side chain tension adjust and "proper" air filter are nice additions.. ( saves me having to retro fit them!) All-in-all pretty happy with a "fake Husky" at 1/10th the price....
