Had the dreaded chirping noise in my Pajero and mechanic said the whole ABS system needs replacing for approximately $3000. Researched for days and then bought this part. Disconnected battery the day before then, just before removing the old accumulator, I pumped the brakes about 40 times so release any pressure. Was able to remove the old accumulator by taking out other parts in the way and taking off the air filter cover. Used a pipe wrench and came out easy. Put the new one in and put everything back together and no more chirping!
