Excellent product. Light weight when added onto Dewalt Products. Saves purchasing newer batteries.
The product is a great advantage as we can now use our older Dewalt products without having to purchase new style batteries. It is not heavy and adds really no extra weight to the products we are using. We would highly recommend purchasing this product.

GOOD IDEA, GOOD PRICE. GREAT FOR PEOPLE USING POWER TOOLS.
The idea is good, and it provides further use for older battery-powered tools that used either NiCd or NiMHyd power sources by way of adapting it to LiIon. So good idea. Perhaps I am a little biassed here, in that I have a number of batery-powered tools some from the earlier and some from the later batteries. Costs of older batteries (NiCd or LiMHyd) appear to have increased, whereas, costs of current battery technologies (LiIon) appear to have decreased. So, as an adaption from earlier to later battery technologies, it would appear to be a win-win situation, and at a relatively small cost. Who could complain??

Effective but expensive.
There's lots of older style Dewalt battery power tools still around. This adapter allows these tools to be used with the newer slide batteries. Tip: install and remove the adapter and battery separately when using the tool, otherwise it's quite hard to remove. I purchased 5 of these things for each older tool that I own so the investment was fairly expensive . The prices on ebay were almost common down to the cent, and from the same location. Makes me think that it's all the same seller using different names.

Battery Adapter
Works perfectly for light to medium duty use, but a great backup if you run out of the post type batteries and my only alternative is Flexvolt batteries hence the lower duty of use as the tool starts too derate power wise if used to long continuously but that was only the case because of using flexvolt batteries.
