I love this PVR! It combines the best features of a standard free to air PVR and a premium streaming pay tv box. The tuner quality is fantastic, I live in a regional area that has poor reception but this box picks up all the local channels perfectly! The series tags work great! The pay tv channels are great. The best feature is the ability to share hour free to air channels with another box that’s not connected to an aerial. Plus sharing recordings from one box to another is epic!

less than 1 month old and freezes a lot during recording playback. Also 3 times so far would not turn on properly, leaving a greyed out screen. Now it won't open my recordings. I have turned off, rebooted and searched for remedies however every 2nd day seems there's a problem. I've owned another PVR humax for 10 years before having to replace it with this fetch. Would appreciate a full refund as it is obviously faulty.

Great recorder with great features and a few bad ones, the paid subscriptions for extra content are good value (if a little AD happy) I would love to see a 30second skip button instead of the default 5 minute setting. the ability to record several shows at once is great, hard drive storage is great at 1TB. Remote does need to be aimed pretty good to work properly, but there's gadgets to get around that problem. For the price i don't think you would find better. I was concerned that no research could show it as able to play Plex, but it does this fine, but not thru an app as expected. Having said that the ability to add more apps would be great (maybe with a new firmware one day) all up i'd give it a 4.5 out of 5 ... let down by a few niggly features, but if you can live with them i'd say it's a worthy investment ... very happy with mine, if only the TV content had something worth recordingRead full review

This is an excellent box to use for free to air, Freeview and streaming apps like Netflix, STAN etc. The multiroom feature is super useful where you can have a single Mighty as the hub and two Fetch minis in other rooms accessing the Mighty recordings and FTA signal. My only small complaint is the box starts playing immediately whatever the last channel viewed was. This is OK for FTA but an small annoyance for streaming material. Also when you bring up menus etc it would be good if the box automatically muted itself. I would have given it 5 stars of the Foxtel NOW and Kayo sports were available but that is highly unlikely to happen.

Great features and design. Only downside is all good remotes these days are Bluetooth, but this one you need to point very accurately at the box to get it to work. Love how easy it is to configure with easy feature to connect to Bluetooth headphones. Can’t record movie channel, so that is not ideal either. However, overall, I would still recommend.

This unit replaces one that was 6 1/2 years old that developed a problem that wasn't able to be fixed by following advice from FETCH support, in fact trying a hard reset was what totally killed it confirming my suspicion that the problem was purely software related, not hardware. The re-furb unit is absolutely as new, only the HDMI cable showing any signs of previous use, and performs as a brand new FETCH should, though I have reverted to using my old remote as the smaller "back", "exit", buttons are less likely to be accidentally pushed when operating the remote by touch. The new unit apparently has voice controll but I suspect an "Alexa" type unit would need to be used in conjunction, and as I can't see any advantage for a non hand-icapped user I have not investigated further.
