Large electric motor but the pump is smaller than expected for what was claimed. Pumping and suction performance are good but not at the level claimed. For the number of claimed impellers the pump is smaller than it should be. Strength and durability are a worry. Don't put it in a situation where you are totally reliant on it in hot weather. There are better around.

outstanding pressure the first use but consecutive uses caused my main switch to trigger. at first i thought it was due to dirty bore water (hence not returning it) so i tore it down and found the front seal was improperly installed leaking water directly into the motor and seizing the front bearing. i got about 5 solid uses out of it. giving it a firm kick with steel toe boots would get it running, once started it was flawless, ran 6 sprinklers at good pressure. really hoping a new bearing and seal will rectify what is potentially a GREAT pump
