Extremely reliable even in harsh outside conditions and good security item. This identical unit replaced one 10 years old which failed due to ant damage - they had colonised the internal sensor cubicles for their eggs. Removed the eggs and it still worked but the lenses were damaged so sensitivity at maximum distance was compromised so I replaced the unit. This is a highly recommended tough product.
