Doesn't seem genuine but works well
Does not have NFC even though the label says it does (even in the display image you can see the NFC coil but the one I received doesn't have it), so I really doubt it's genuine Samsung. However the battery itself works well - takes 35 hours to go from full charge to 10% (Lineage OS, power profile set to efficient, mild use); compared to 24 hours for my 1-year old genuine Samsung battery with the same settings, so it's consistent with a brand new Samsung battery. I don't know how well it will last but so far it seems like a worthy replacement.

Not genuine Samsung battery. Quite easy to tell due to slightly different physical size and variations of printed text. Battery size is only 2500mAh not 3220mAh as described.

The new battery lasts as long as my old one! My mobile has been wiped clean to factory settings so does not have any apps to use the battery, but it lasted as long as the one I had in the phone before - no longer than one day. So Im not sure if my old battery was wearing out or the new battery is as bad as the old one(???)

Seems to be genuine
Hard to know these days, but this Note 4 battery works better than others I have purchased previously. It weighs over 52gms whereas 2 of my other supposedly genuine batteries weighed only approx 45gms. And in lithium battery physics power is directly related to mass. Not parti ularly cheap but would buy another.

The best of the Samsung Galaxy Note series.
I bought my new Galaxy Note 4 when I upgraded from my Galaxy S4. I like the design of being able to change battery which is removable and the option to install a SD memory card. I use my Note 4 all day without needing to recharge until the next day. Sometimes I wonder when did I last recharged my phone in case I go out on a day trip visiting friends..

Replace that old battery
It was worth replacing my 2 year old battery - it feels like a new phone again, a night and day difference in things like discharge rate. My old battery would die as soon as it hit < 25% and would often get very hot and discharge overnight for no reason.
