This is a very effective tool for single story homes. Mostly well made, it unfortunately has parts made of die-cast alloy, which is prone to cracking and breaking. Having said that, my previous one last an number of years. It would be helpful if it was made to be dismantled so that it could be cleaned internally and lubricated for smooth, easy operation of the telescoping joint.
