Worth it for safety. Bigger entrances would make it 100% instead of 95%..
My kids are so happy they can help me grate things whilst cooking now since this machine is safe. I wish the tube was a bit bigger so it could grate more at once but that is just being picky. I find that grating soft cheeses causes it to get stuck in the tube instead of falling out of exit, but it’s nothing a fork or butter knife doesn’t fix. Suctioning to my granite bench doesn’t happen. STILL love it and I’ll be able to keep some more of my skin with it too. It’s just a little more work to cut items up smaller so they can be put in top to be grated.

not what expected as it moves when in use
the on seal on the suction base does not work when you use the grater and it moves the quality is ok I don't know if it's faulty or they all are the same.I have a different brand of of tabletop drum grater but it has only two blades and the suction base works fine on that one.

I love this thing so stinkin' much
Two negatives 1) there is a little air space in one of the parts that collects water if you run it through the dishwasher 2) the suction base is tempermental if you have a textured counter-top (in my case, granite) Other than that, it is amazing. It can run through an entire block of cheese in about thirty seconds. The barrels are quite large so it is very easy to clean the bits of food out when you're done using it. And yet, it breaks down into a few small pieces, so it is convenient to store.

A quality and useful gadget.
It makes grating cheese a breeze and safe on fingers. Only problem is that a small hole in the clear plastic shute arrangement tends to trap dirty dishwashing liquid. Takes a while to drain. Otherwise, it's great!
