Awesome little generator started 2nd pull right out of the box, nice and light and reasonably quiet!, enough grunt to run my 70lt car fridge set to minus 5 deg for around five hours non stop as a test and will be taking it on the road for the next 2 months so that will test it to the Max.

Bought to run basic lights & charge batteries & - as a smaller unit - easier to carry in back of duel cab. Run in over 5 hrs - easy to fill & change oil (done 3 times) - handled 600w lights in last 2 hrs of running in no issue. Noise mtr showed consistent 57dec at 7 mtr - no load - yet to test in great outdoors, but it's a quiet unit even compared to some of the more expensive units (yamie 1000 & Honda 2000) - starts easy enough - time will tell as to longevity. Value for the $$. Appears solid & well finished unit. Ran for a bit over 5 hours on 1 tank - not empty yet - but nite came & even though its quiet - I do live in town on small block.

My Genny has been in service for one and a half years with only a few short bursts of usage, generally light use as it gets run in. Anyhow, the unit is easy to start and runs fairly smoothly. In my most reason outing, my unit was used to run lighting and it did that job just fine. The real durability test came when due to a friends negligence, deployed a second unit of his with the exhaust venting directly onto the Gentrax unit which melted a hole in the juncture of the rear panel and side which caused the fuel tank to overpressure and pop a small hole!! (I didn't realize the tank damage until back at home) And just to add to the durability test, took a tumble onto asphalt which it absorbed with no problem, so while I don't exactly trust my klutzy friend, I do at this time trust the Gentrax which got away with a fuel tank repair and all is well. (except for the melted plastic and that's definitely not a quality problem)Read full review

This very small and light (about 10 kgs) generator will start easily and run all day. 800 watts continuous isn’t much, but will run lights and a fridge; even a TV if your smart. No one “out in the bush” has an excuse not to spend $250 on one of these beaut little genies for those occasions that the utility reticulated power goes on holiday.
