Original equipment. What more can you say?
First of all, it's a Casio original equipment replacement part, so that's a good start! I bought my first Casio W-800H in 2008 and wore it daily until its band broke in 2013. Then, it was cheaper to buy a whole watch from eBay than a genuine replacement band, so I bought a second W-800H. Just recently that too broke its band, but this time I could buy at the right price. 5 years for the life of a band is Ok, I believe, so I think the band is adequately durable. It's also comfortable, easy to fit and is of course designed to integrate with the shape of the watch much better than alternatives.

Cant read the instructions print too small. I am 88 eyes medium .I purched the watch looked good but unable to navigate the setting. Basically spent peanuts & received peanuts

Solid, no nonsense, workhorse watch
If looks are ya thing, go spend more money elsewhere. If getting a watch that has an analogue clock on it so you look grown-up, go spend money elsewhere. If a cheaper, no-nonsense watch that tells the time, the date, has an alarm, a light, a stopwatch, is waterproof, has a long-lasting battery and can handle a bit of rough-use (I work outdoors...) is ya thing, get on board. Only watch I've used over the last fifteen years. Think I'm on my third now... 4 stars 'cause a g-shock is probably more rugged, but ya pay for that. And on my last one, a bit on the watch that holds the pin for the band broke and that was un-replaceable.

Value for money, keeps good time,easy to set time date,good size numerals to see time. Disappointed to find out in the small print that the 10 year battery has not been installed, but a less powerful one which has to be changed by a qualified person to insure that it will be waterproof ! An unwelcome expense for the future !

A great watch, and great value.
I've had one of these watches for about 10 years and it still works perfectly. I bought this watch as my new "going out" watch, but I will still use the old one for the rough and tumble general use. The styling might be getting on, but you can't go past these watches, at any price. It functions perfectly, keeps time so well that I can't remember when I set it last, and I have never replaced the battery in my 10 year old watch - incredible! You set the year (as well as time etc), so it even rolls over dates with leap years, and I think it will be a great seniors watch as it even displays the year for when I forget what year it is. A different Casio I bought years ago coped with frequent dunking from swimming, sailing etc and never leaked. My present watch mostly only gets wet when cycling in the rain, washing the car etc, but it has never leaked. The only thing that has worn out is the watch band, which I've had to replace. I thoroughly recommend this watch.Read full review

Great value for the price
Great watch for work or around the house doing the odd job. Easy to read, lots of functions, light so very comfortable. 10 year battery in a 80's style retro watch, even if it last half that time you couldn't complain for the price.
