I bought this for our newly acquired ragdoll cat Benson. He hasn't worked out how to use it yet. Last night splashed with fountain water by spinning it. He showed some interest. Any tips on how to get Benson to drink from it. Also could it be used by our 2 great DaneX dogs.

Great idea. Easy to put together & easy to clean. I introduced the Water Fountain to five of my cats about a week ago and initially they were captivated and entertained by the flow of the water. However, only one of my cats has actually taken to it and drinks from it. The problem is, my two cats that really need to increase their water intake ignore the Water Fountain totally. I am not giving up yet though, I shall give it a few more weeks and see if things change.

It is difficult to actually see the water level through the small window at the side. The pump can be noisy which may be due to low water level (refer above comment). When the "flower" isn't attached the water does not flow evenly but just out of one quadrant, so I was resigned to propping up the water dispenser to make the water flow evenly. Otherwise, once the cats became used to it after about a week, they now drink from it.
