I purchased this antenna system to fit it to a Ford Territory, which is a right royal PITA to fit antennas and radios into. This antenna seemed to be the solution to my problem, AND IT WAS. I love the fact that no holes needed to be drilled, the cable could easily be hiffen down the 'A' pillar and best of all, it works much better than I had hoped. Now, the 2.1db claimed gain is actally 2.1dbi, that is, it's no better than a 1/4 wave antenna but even with a cheap CB Radio I can hear and talk to other drivers a few Km's in front of and behind me when I'm on the road and seriously folks, that is ALL YOU NEED. You do end up with a small box on the inside of the windscreen but no holes need to be drilled, which means that it doesn't hurt the resale value of the car it's in.
