Quite happy with this apart from the timber slats not being lacquered on the back side of them. Please take care when fastening the side angle and underneath support brackets as the screws are too long and will pretrude out the timber slats. You will need to purchase shorter screws.

The cast legs are solid and the bench went together without problems. The problem is that the slats are made of raw pine sprayed with estapol only on one side. I predict the bench will last only one season outside before it twists and rots. It needs to be made of treated pine or Hardwood. Painting the slats with an outdoor paint will increase its life but at best it's a very lightweight bench best for indoor or under roof use.

No knots in pine timber slats as shown in picture as was the case with mine which has plenty of them. This making it more easier to break when one sits on it. In the ad it just says wood. Also two of the brackets that have to be screwed underneath were much too long requiring me to cut about 50+ mm off them to fit.

It was reasonably easy to put together, however, it was smaller than I thought. Nevertheless it is sturdy and looks great in the garden

very light construction , ply boards are not strong enough . Would not want 2 adults on it . No real back support as its only a timber frame . I wasnt mislead and have no problem with the purchase its just a bit light duty .
