I was pleasantly surprised as the finish on this guitar is very good and would not be out of place on a much higher end instrument. The machine heads are smooth and responsive and have a very nice style of knobs. I had to change the strings and I should warn other buyers to do so as the STRINGS IT HAD ON ARRIVAL WERE WAY TOO BIG. The spare strings provided should also be ignored if they are the 12-53 (WAY TOO BIG) style as I received. My guitar plays very well with 10-47's which are much more compatible with this guitar. I had to shave 2 mm off the plastic bridge bottom and reset the neck contour slightly The truss rod is easily accessed through the sound hole and the correct tool was provided.I am happy with the on board tuner and EQ be sure to have a competent techy set your guitar up. Overall an excellent little guitar for student and bluesmen!Read full review

For the money..... its a great little guitar. A few minor adjustments: * rotate strings using 5th string as 6th (etc) *adjust neck to get rid of buzz in middle positions * file fret edges above 12th. But its a great sounding, comfortable instrument

The guitar is let down by the terrible tuners .. To be a musical instrument it must be able to be tuned and stay in tune with in reason. The build seems to be very good and the electronics fine. The tone is very average its just not right. My first guitar was the cheapest Suzuki made and it sounded better.
