I found this camera really easy to setup and use. I've since bought a couple more and have them inside and outside the house. I have them set to always record but only to alert me of movement when nobody is home. Being a Google service, everything is managed online (web browser or app) and it links into my Google Home devices. One cool thing with this setup is to be able to say "Hey Google, show me the driveway camera on the lounge TV", and it does exactly that!

The camera is of solid construction and well designed. The problems arise because you need a paid cloud subscription to store video online. I didn't feel this was clear when I did research. I also find the video quality isn't as good as I expected. Its a bit grainy, it lags a bit and is hard to make out faces. The camera sensor is also not great in low light conditions and it might only spot people when they are very close. Sometimes a person may be so close you won't even capture the face which defeats the whole purpose of the camera. Given the premium price, it disappointing there aren't alternative ways to store video other than a cloud sub and the other issues with recording quality make this a disappointing purchase for me.
