The best part of this bass is its looks. Oh, and the delivery time and condition were great, too.The sound is OK but the playability is poor. When it arrived, the frets all stuck out and cut my fingers. The action was amazingly high so only the first five frets were actually usable. I took it to a great luthier. He did his best. He filed the frets; filed down the nut; lowered the bridge; and tightened the truss rod to the max. Since I have no more truss rod adjustment left, the action is the best it will ever be. The last six or so frets will never be playable unless, maybe, I put softer strings on it. The gig bag is just a bag. No padding at all. So I'll need to find something better before I take the bass to jam at my buddy's; which is why I got it. So far I spent (Canadian) over $60 for shipping; $29 Custom fees and $115 for the luthier. And a gig bag will be at lest $60. By the time i add strings, I likely could have paid for a good brand name at my local store. I think the bass is going to be adequate for what I intended: practising my church Worship Team tunes without needing an amp and jamming at my buddy's. But I've seen some at pawn shops that might have been better choices.Read full review
