I’m not a stranger to flat packs, but the first one of these I built took a while. The second was easier as I had my spirit level handy from the start. Be mindful that the threads on the pipes are not all the same length - which can mean a little fiddling to get the shelves level. I also was not prepared to screw the unit into our floor, so we added an extra bracket to a mid-lower shelf to make it more stable. The ‘timber’ shelves could look nicer but in honesty are mostly hidden anyway. They look great in my son’s room, so despite being fiddly I am happy with the end product.

This is a good product and looks great against a wall. However, be careful about the height of the shelves. The pictures say the height is around 30cm between shelves. when it's actually only 28cm, as 2cm is the thickness of the shelf itself. I had calculated that the height was perfect for my board games only to find out this problem after I assembled it. So close, yet so far. Oh well. Aside from that, it's a good shelf unit.
