Not what I was expecting at all, it is nothing like any Star Trek show I've seen before, it's full of twists and turns and kept me hanging on, and season 2 is even better and has left me hanging for season 3, which will be nothing like any Star Trek show before! A less abstract version of star trek Characters are a little more diverse, language a little more realistic Still suffers from lazy plot writing and highly dependent on CGI The writers could learn a little science from the real world instead of making all the plot mistakes of other science fiction movies and series (hire a biologist - we are cheap)
