Great movie, a lot of fun. It is a critical part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe - worth watching, especially with interest in Avengers.
It arrived a lot faster than expected. The movie is brilliant I've watched it several times already.
This film is brilliant because of the characters, the script and the effects. The quirkiness of the characters is delightful: Chris Pratt's, Peter Quill (Starlord) parodies a super hero so well. Bradley Cooper does a great voice acting job as Rocket. The facial expressions on a moving tree and a severely restricted vocabulary, voiced by Vin Diesel, make Groot an amazing creation. Add Zoe Saldana and Dave Bautista to the mix and the gradual bonding of the group into the 'Guardians' emerges from their shared challenges. Lee Pace's Ronan makes a great villain. There is never a dull moment as the pace of the movie is swift. The supporting cast are also excellent as is the soundtrack of 1970s songs. This is a movie that can be enjoyed over and over again by all ages.
