Your in charge!
This charger provides an excellent insight into the condition of the battery being charged. You know straight away if it should be discarded and replaced with good battery. It minimizes charge time for each individual battery and is a real time saver. You can keep a record of each battery charge time and mAh charge so you can discard under performing batteries. I would think the precise charging current and voltage would have to increase the charge cycle count and mAh storage capacity of the batteries compared to on board chargers. I have only used this charger for Li-ion batteries and can confidently say is the best Li-ion charger I have used by far.

Impressive, high tech.
I am amazed, with the detailed information it shows, about the batteries, while charging. The best multi battery technology, charger, I have. So far it has charged all my batteries, well. Hope it lasts as well, as the older version of this brand has.

This Nitecore 'Smart' charger is one of the best value-for-money products I have purchased for charging my Eneloop batteries. It has a wide range of features and the best one of them all is; it does not 'cook' the batteries like cheaper chargers do.

Good Quality Product
This charger does it all. Just put your batteries in and it works out what type they are, what voltage they are, then chooses the best recharging rate for them. You can clearly see the status of each battery on the display. Very pleased with my purchase. It certainly makes things easier.

Powerful and quality
I own and love my nitecor D4. But if you can afford a little more buy this upgraded SC4 its so much more powerful. I like how it lets you know the internal resistance of the battery so you might want to throw it away if you need to rely on it. It also adds a usb outlet but were disappointing you could not use it as a power-bank. Build quality looks excellent.

One of the best universal chargers
Quality product with a great display that also shows battery condition (good or bad) with a resistance reading. No power brick required; uses a standard figure 8 cord. My only complaint is AAA batteries have to be positioned just right to make contact.
