About 1.5 years after buying this, the sling which holds the seat cushioning deteriorated and tore due to weather exposure. I contacted the supplier but they could not find a spare. This rendered it unusable. I went to Bunnings and bought some Grunt 9mm x 30m Multi Purpose Rope and strung it a bit like an Acapulco chair. It's held with hangman knots, and I burnt the ends of the rope so it would not fray. It is now even tighter and more comfortable than it was before. However, now I will have to replace the canopy, as that is also beginning to deteriorate with weather after about 2.5 years. Like a previous reviewer said, you will need extra padding under the seat cushion. I got 3 x 45cm outdoor floor cushions from Bunnings and they fit across the width perfectly. You should take all removable items off and store them when not in use as they will fade and deteriorate. Read full review

The seat cushion is only 4cms thick, so you can feel the metal bar under your legs. We found that uncomfortable. We now use a 7cms thick bench cushion to sit on. When the cushion provided is down, you can hardy see it. When we fold it up against the back rest, the swing is very comfortable. It looks ok and we think it is good value for the price.
