This Ubiquity switch has a solid steel chassis that indicates the high quality of the product from the outside. Installing the switch was straightforward and switch can be used without further configuration. The Unifi controller software can be used to configure the switch for VLANs and none-default network features. One thing that is of a concern is there no way to backup switch specific configuration. Otherwise global configuration is part of the controller and can be captured in backup. POE feature works as expected, but would have preferred some form of persistent usage data and advance control. The device can run really hot duration operation unless if the room is well airconditioned. Overall the switch works well and is of high quality design and build.
