These are nice sounding computer speakers aimed at people wanting better audio quality PC speakers. I spent the extra to get these speakers and I'm pleased with how they sound and glad I did, instead of buying cheapies. I wasn't interested in window shaking bass, if that is what your after then you'll need a seperate subwoofer or larger speakers. But for what they are designed for (quality desktop sound) they do a good job and I also like how they have separate bass and treble controls too

This is a quality pair of computer speakers for the desktop. They produce clear, precise treble and an emotionally satisfying bass with involving midrange. The presentation is dynamically shaded, fun and nimble.

The quality of sound from these small speakers is fantastic

Clear well balanced sound. I bought them to use with my projector, they are even better than expected without going overboard.

These things look fantastic but the audio quality is only just ok at low sound volumes despite the adjustment knobs for bass, treble and volume which don’t really help, in fact they make things worse unless you turn the bass and treble knobs to the minimum settings and keep them there. The sound distorts badly when you turn the volume up more than about 40%. Logitech and Edifier do a much better job than Creative with speakers as far as idiots quality goes, and also the quality of construction and are much cheaper than this expensive set too. Disappointing!
