I bought it for the chrome surround only. Didn’t need the rest. I removed the old complete cover with my hands. Fitted the new one but mistakenly didn’t clip the window switch in correctly. Shouldn’t have been a major problem but... I could not get the new one out. I’m a mechanic with all the right tools. Had to break it and then pull the clips out individually with multigrips. I ended up using the old console with the new chrome surround. Next time I’ll get a second hand one.
