Cheap and it looks and feels like it
This is made from very cheap and brittle soft timber. It dents and bits break off extremely easily. I cannot imagine this being very long lasting at all. If you want something you know you'll have to replace in a fairly short timeframe then its reasonably cheap, but is not something durable that will last. I do not think it could be used outside as it will probably rot very quickly, being a softwood, not a hardwood material. The bracing bits did not fit properly on my piece so had to make do with the best fit I could get.
