new authentic brand Panasonic Rechargeable battery LV 2020 BMW E 90/91 / 92/93 as well as many BMW key fobs from early 2000. The charging buttons (by induction) when in the ignition but as with any rechargeable battery they are only good for around 1000 charges.  The keys are sealed and will normally cost between £125 - £200 to purchase from BMW, But with this battery you can just replace the battery yourself, you will have to cut the key open with something sharp to replace the battery then close the key again. (There are many guides on how to do this on the Internet). These are the same Panasonic VL 2020 batteries used by Panasonic the only difference is with the pcb leg supports. BMW had a different PCB mounting leg shape put on the batteries there (which you can't buy), but it just req.
