Simple and lightweight
This is a fabulous lightweight vacuum cleaner that is easy to put together and manoeuvre. It works surprisingly well and the catcher is easy to empty. The only downside is ensuring the very long tubing is water logged before you start the filter. Otherwise a great buy.

Above Ground Vacuum
This product once put together looks very good and made of good quality materials. Once I put it into then Pool is when it all ended for me. It doesn’t do much at all and I was so very disappointed as I really wanted to clean my pool. I understand you get what you pay for, I do get a bit sick of paying my good money and when I receive the product it is not up to standard! Yeah, you certainly don’t get the Rolls Royce for Honda money, but give us a break.

Helps keep pool cleaner
We have a vinyl above ground pool. I first thoroughly wipe the inside surface with soft glove (like for car cleaning but mounted on a plate + timber rod) to dislodge any stains, algae, etc. Because Bestway Cleaner has stiff brushes on its cleaning/ suction head, I avoid pressing it hard against the vinyl surface- not to scratch the vinyl- by pressing it lightly I cover the pool surface and it collects debris whereas loosened algae is collected by pool filter which I wash out with a hose. Certainly assists keeping pool clean..

Hard to install in a practical way
Hard to install in a workable manner The problem is the pool design is not suited for a vacuum You realy only have a choice of leaving it permanently connected thus removing the original pool intakes which is not ideal, or switching the plumbing over every time you want to clean which is also not ideal

Look after your pool gear- store it out of the sun - and it will last for years. Good value.
We have a 24" X 12" Bestway pool coming into its fifth summer and they are a marvel. There is no way we can afford an in-ground pool, but with decking and landscaping Bestway is the perfect affordable option. Spare parts do what they are meant to do.
