Easy to assemble. Strong and durable, yet lightweight and easy to move. Perfect size for a small/medium size dog. Great how the roof lifts up, makes it easy to clean. Dog also likes to sit on top of it.

For its price and it's looks you would of expected better quality material's fact is the opposite the wood is as light as balsa wood if you tied your little Toto to it and a strong wind blow through, well Toto wouldn't be in Kansas any more. Be prepared to restrengthen it especially the floor and Wall's, which is a shame as it really does look nice true value would be $85 and $30 P/H not a cent more and don't expect it to last in out door conditions the apex of roof is very very much like balsa wood if you don't know what that is its a very soft wood used for model building not for any wet areas much like toughened cardboard. The rest of roof is fine but I still wouldn't recommend it being placed out in open but under a verandah would be fine. Size I bought extra large that's great for my dog who is slightly taller than a boxer dog at full growth in fact probably get two (boxer dog's ) in it if their great friends, dog bowls are a joke in the extra large package they are the same size as a small dogs and practically useless. Toy box is great idea and does work well. If you're not a handy man (Woman) don't bother you need to be able to strengthen this item but its not impossible.Read full review

I guess it's Ok for what we paid for, and even though it doesn't say it anywhere in the description, from looking at the photo I expected the black trim around the corners to be metal, so I was disappointed to discover the black trim is just wood strips painted black for show. I bought L (large) size kennel but it definitely would not house a large dog. Even in the picture it shows a small pomeranian type dog in it.

We also had to reinforce the floor. Its in two parts and thin wood with gaps. Our dog would snap through not good for large dogs and i would worry small dogs would even get pinched by it. The timber does split easily on construction so no sure how long it will last. The dog bowl top was very dodgy looking ply wood. Def not as pictured.

The dog in the picture is a larger dog than mine.... yet he only just fits. Scale of image isnt correct but the kennel is well made. Instructions were minimal but easy enough to put together.

Although I am happy with the look of the Kennel the wood used is very very thin! I have a Bullmastiff pup on the way and there is no way in hell this would last 12 months without a few amendments. We've spent an extra 70 in wood from Bunnings to make stronger so that our soon to be 60+kg dog will be able to use a bit longer. Although I'm certain Bozley will out live his kennel! To sell a kennel of an "extra large" size would mean that it needs to fit an "extra large" dog! Like I said, although i'm happy with the overall look of this kennel and the frame has made it easier to create something pretty spiffy for my pup I did have to make amendments to make it stronger.
