I’ve been getting much better crimps than my previous $10 tool (which would make such bad connections I’d not get gigabit sometimes). The parallel action and cast head of this tool provides accurate retention of the receptacle and even setting of the pins and don’t crush the tang like some tools do. Comfortable and solid feeling. Well worth the premium over cheap examples, without being excessive (some of these run into $100’s and it’s unclear why).
