Each pair of pages contains - a list of abbreviations, a labeled line drawing, and, on the second page, a 3D anaglyph of some part of the brain. Most of the anaglyph images are great. However, the list of abbreviations is very difficult to read with the red/blue glasses on, mainly because the font is so small. In addition, the labels on the line drawings use a different letter spacing than the text that identifies the abbreviations. As a result, many of the letters appear to run together (they actually appear to touch). This, and the fact that they are in red, means that I need a magnifier just to read the labels. As a result, it is hard to recommend this book - the content is excellent, but the presentation is extremely poor. The CD is pretty good - there is a 3D model that you can rotate and zoom for every image in the book. However, there are no labels. You must use the difficult to read book.Read full review
