This book is published by Dover Publications published in 1974 with its contents selected from Godey's Lady's Book and Peterson's Magazine, 1852 - 1880. The content might be helpful if you require 1800's type letter. However, it is in capital lettering. Plus would need to be traced onto graph paper to get a thread count etc. Definitely no modern lettering. If after a lettering book for cross stitching I'd be looking elsewhere.

This is a reproduction of Victorian Alphabets and Monograms and is for embroidery, not cross stitch. It is extremely comprehensive and is a wonderful resource for the hand embroiderer (not cross stitcher)
