I brought this product as I needed a suppressor to stop the hum my pedals were making. I like the fact that the pedal has a send and return on it which does wonders when it comes to stopping noise. I use my threshold at about 85% just before it starts to strip the tone. and my decay at 15%. This has been the best option for me as it eliminates all hum and hiss. It is a nice sturdy pedal. People always complain that this pedal sucks tone but that is only if you put the threshold all the way. I'm giving this four stars because it does stop the hum and hiss for every pedal except my MXR ten band eq which may require a second.
I've tried other noise gate pedals and the Boss NS-2 is by far the best .I have two pedalboards and i have one on each.

Awesome pedal, i was getting this unbearable noise comming from guitar so i decided to buy on of these, i could'nt be happier solved the whole problem and without sucking the tone from my sound. if your having noise problems with your rig get on of these you wont be sorry.
Does the job required without compromising the tonal quality. Fits in well with other pedals. Would like to see the item described in more detail in a user friendly manner.
