The Boss NS-2 is a guitar effect pedal designed to produce sound modulations by applying effects such as noise-suppressor. To provide the musicians with an option to control the desired aspects of their instruments’ tone, this Stompbox unit is equipped with the following controls: threshold knob, decay knob and mode knob. This guitar effect pedal features jack input and jack output connectors and uses an AC adaptor/battery power supply that provide convenient usage.

Its a great pedal. Does what it should.
I brought this product as I needed a suppressor to stop the hum my pedals were making. I like the fact that the pedal has a send and return on it which does wonders when it comes to stopping noise. I use my threshold at about 85% just before it starts to strip the tone. and my decay at 15%. This has been the best option for me as it eliminates all hum and hiss. It is a nice sturdy pedal. People always complain that this pedal sucks tone but that is only if you put the threshold all the way. I'm giving this four stars because it does stop the hum and hiss for every pedal except my MXR ten band eq which may require a second.

Stop Hum/Buzz
I've tried other noise gate pedals and the Boss NS-2 is by far the best .I have two pedalboards and i have one on each.

this pedal works wonders!
Awesome pedal, i was getting this unbearable noise comming from guitar so i decided to buy on of these, i could'nt be happier solved the whole problem and without sucking the tone from my sound. if your having noise problems with your rig get on of these you wont be sorry.
